Connector Initiatives
It is a network of organisations that aim to bring about positive social change in South Africa and are particularly active in the fields of safety, environment, education and health.
It aims to interconnect initiatives aimed at positive social change with other such initiatives, as well as with the general public.
Transformative Initiatives
It constitutes an organised effort to pursue personal growth in an open-ended, non-dogmatic manner.
It aims to help our society overcome the growing social, economic and ecological challenges by engaging in conservation and building community consciousness
It aims to remake our society according to the cooperative community model in an effort to overcome our social problems.
It proposes an alternative currency system to help us connect with other members of our community and in the process eliminate the inequities of conventional money.
It proposes another alternative currency system in the same spirit as time banking, but one that is more versatille and has the potential to replace the conventional currency.
It attempts to provide a comprehensive solution to our social problems and in the process offers some valuable insights, especially in the areas of technology and resource management.
It shows by example how media needs to be used to facilitate social transformation.
It echoes the approach of YES! Magazine in its support of positive social developments.
