A new web page has been added: Courses

Date: 31 January 2010
It lists the courses that I offer and provides detailed information about them. The only course available at this stage has been adapted from my book Living Deliberately. It strives to accomplish the same goal as the book - derive a life philosophy that embodies your highest ideals and offers guidance in every situation - only in an interactive setting. This is a very important new dimension to my work and one that I'm extremely excited about!

A new article has been written: Purposefully Adopting Beliefs – Part 1

Date: 28 December 2009
This is the first article in a series of three that discusses beliefs, with the eye on finding ways to make their adoption deliberate and goal-driven. I originally tried to compress the discussion of the subject into a single article, but it turned out to be much too cryptic and difficult to follow due to the space constraints. The other two articles should follow over the next couple of months.

The Awakening Earth proposal has been extended

Date: 8 November 2009
Some of the readers have found it difficult to get a clear sense of what the proposal is about. As a result, I've decided to extend section 4.2 Information Content with an example. Hopefully this makes the somewhat abstract ideas presented in the proposal more concrete.

A new proposal has been written: Awakening Earth

Date: 4 November 2009
It examines what it means for a society to be self-reflective. It then proposes that an organisation be established for the purpose of bringing about such a change in our society and suggests specific goals and activities that would assist in this endeavour.

The Raw Vegan Diet proposal has been extended

Date: 20 October 2009
At a reader's request, I've extended the proposal to include nutritional analysis of the food. The analysis is nutrient-centric - it starts from the nutrients that our bodies need and explores how a raw vegan diet might be able to provide them. It doesn't attempt to list every food or nutrient, but serves more as an overview of what one can expect nutritionally from the diet.

A new proposal has been written: Raw Vegan Diet

Date: 9 October 2009
The purpose of the proposal is to describe the diet that I've recently adopted, for the benefit of people who may be willing to consider making a similar change in their own lives. The diet consists entirely of non-animal ingredients, most of which are eaten raw. The effectiveness of the diet is also discussed.

A more detailed examination of collective transformation has been written

Date: 2 September 2009
The next article on more detailed aspects of social transformation, it continues where the previous one leaves off to extend the benefits of personal transformation to the society as a whole. It tackles the fundamental question of what kind of social consciousness is needed in order to bring about widespread change, without considering what form social structures might take as a result.

A more detailed examination of personal transformation has been written

Date: 27 July 2009
This is the first in a series of articles that look at specific aspects of social transformation that I've briefly discussed in the high-level plan. This one focuses on personal transformation that I consider to be a prerequisite for social transformation. It explains why it is needed and what each one of us can do to bring it about.

A new proposal has been written: Creative Collaborative Game Model

Date: 26 June 2009
It proposes a family game model that consists of performing a creative task which requires collaboration of all the participants. This game model is offered as an alternative to competitive games that presently dominate family entertainment. It is my hope that its adoption will contribute to the change of our collective mentality to one of mutual support and collaboration.

A new book has recently entered the writing phase

Date: 12 June 2009
Provisionally titled Then and Now, It is a collection of vignettes on undesirable social changes that our society has undergone through the history, as told from the point of view of the people who have lived through them. I don't know at this stage whether this will be my third book. I suspect that it will, since its disjointed structure is better suited to my present workload than the storyline-driven fiction books that I've started writing some time ago.
